Logan Square Green Corridor Logo Contest

Any graphic design folks want to take a shot at designing the logo for the new Milwaukee Ave Green Development Corridor? There’s some cash and beer in it for whomever’s design is selected. For more info see the Logan Square/Milwaukee Ave Green Business Dev website.

Ald. Rey Colón and the 35th Ward Office invite local designers and artists to enter a contest to create the logo and identity for the Milwaukee Avenue Green Development Corridor.

Artists and designers are invited to help us create the visual identity for this corridor, which will be displayed on street signs and banners, this web site, and other promotional materials.

Deadline: Feb. 15, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Prize: $100 cash + $50 Revolution Brewing gift card

Judging Criteria

• Aesthetically Pleasing: The winning design will be eye-catching and attractive.
• Functional: The winning design will be adaptable to suit a variety of digital, print, and location-based communications vehicles, including but not limited to web sites, fliers, post cards, community banners, and educational signs.
• Community-Oriented: The winning design will reflect the community spirit in Logan Square, as well as the spirit of cooperation inherent to the Milwaukee Avenue Green Development Corridor.
